Our Preschool Program

Our programs for 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds encourage your child to learn through play while teaching the foundations of learning to prepare your child for Kindergarten. Our Preschool classes are built upon the idea that children learn best through exploration, especially with the support and guidance of our amazing teachers and we continue to build upon the social emotional, cognitive, and physical development goals that we have introduced in our younger programs.

How Is Our Preschool Different?

We offer full-day and half-day programs five days per week! Our Preschool Program is designed according to The Creative Curriculum.

The Creative Curriculum for Preschool® guides our teachers in planning a program that includes all of the following that integrate learning areas across all of the content areas:

Social/Emotional Learning
Choice Time
Small- and Large-Group Time
The Arts, Math and Literacy
Music and Movement
Cooking
Sensory - Sand and Water Experiences
Toys and Games
Discovery and Studies
Outdoor environment, which is designed to provide an extension to the classroom, and to allow various science and discovery experiences, too!

Half-day wrap-around care is available for your Head Start participant!

If your child attends ICAA or Tribal Head Start, transportation is provided to and from Starbright by the Head Start Program!
